Products

VanGogh Imaging currently offers two distinct 3D scanning products. The first product, Sunflower, is a software-only 3D scanning solution that uses regular photos to capture a single 3D scan. The second product, Vincent, then registers each 3D scan and automatically combines those scans into a single 3D model. Sunflower and Vincent are designed to be used together, whereas Vincent can be used as a stand-alone product along with any type of 3D scanner.

Sunflower: Photo-based 3D Scanning Solution

Using a simple 3D stereo camera from Point Grey Solutions, we can extract a single 3D scan easily and quickly up to 16 frames per second. It also has great range and is therefore ideal for scanning large objects. Paired with our Vincent solution, a complete 3D model can be realized in less than a minute making it ideal for many applications. It just takes minutes to set up and is very easy to use.

Price: $200 to $500 per license depending on volume (does not include the digital camera)

Vincent: 3D Auto-Registration

Until now, 3D image processing has been a cumbersome process requiring the manual “stitching” together of tens or hundreds of sample images. Vincent is an auto-registration technology which completely automates this process. Vincent can be configured to work with most 3D scanners on the market today. We currently have production ready interfaces to Point Grey and NextEngine scanners.
