Starry Night is a mixed reality enabling technology for augmented and virtual reality applications based on VanGogh Imaging’s proprietary 3D computer vision algorithm. Starry Night is a stand-alone solution that can be used to create usable AR applications. It provides a state-of-the-art vision solution for AR glasses, tablets, desktops, and smart wearable devices. Starry Night accurately superimposes graphics directly onto real objects and scenes (scene functionality available second half of 2016).
Starry Night SDK API
The Starry Night SDK provides a simple C++ API of a set of classes capable of either capturing or tracking a room or an object. Each class consumes sensor data, such as depth maps and color images, and produces a real-time, six-degree-of-freedom pose estimate. The capturing classes also create a detailed, real-time, three dimensional model of changing scenes and moving objects to be used by the trackers or imported into a virtual environment. The Starry Night SDK API is available now.
